Is it possible to be unique and special in a "viral" world?

 

It pains me greatly to see what we have become with the advancement of technology, science, and social media. 

There is a simple explanation for all of this that we are, when the objective of whoever provides a service or product is that it makes a profit above all else, and that this profit has an unlimited and eternal exponential growth, then it is normal that we get to where we are. 

A world in which there is clearly a gigantic pyramid scheme, socially, economically, politically and even religiously, it couldn't be otherwise. The top of the pyramid needs the base to feel that it always has too little, in order to keep producing for too little, to be able to buy what others with too little also produce for too little, and in this, only the top truly wins, living without working a single day.

The population never has much left, but every day, they are given the illusion that they can be important, and that's where the social networks come in, to make the people at the top laugh and really rejoice. 

We see many people wasting their lives working, as if this is the meaning of life, everything has taxes, every step they take they have to pay, and if they are unlucky enough to have nothing at birth, their life will be much more complicated. 

Enter advertising, something that is considered normal, and even necessary, because it defines what it is to be cool, fashionable, good, better, more interesting, more valuable. The feeling of scarcity is something that is mechanically introduced into people's minds, because we will never be able to keep up with all the trends, and behind this attempt frustration and anxiety are generated. 

Of course, all the platitudes that we have to be something in life, and show our worth, in order to have the acceptance of others, don't help us to ever get a glimpse of what true happiness means. We are once again content with social networks, the likes and the statistics, the dream is no longer to live in a better and more united world, but to go viral. 

On top of all this, the culture of cancellation was formed, as if the top of the pyramid didn't already have enough control, and the people, as always, loved the idea. Pettiness and envy, is something common and natural, unfortunately, in all corners of the world, and having the opportunity to belong to the cute or chosen ones, sitting on thrones of false morality, berating others who don't follow the norms (made to control the puppets) has become our daily bread....haaa how it lessens the miserable sense of frustration that many live, if only for a few brief seconds.

It's not all bad, but the list isn't finished yet, and to be able to fix a machine, you have to know it and understand well how it works, or you're going to fix it on one side and it's going to blow up on the other. 

When a part of society or an area begins to give an air of evolution, progress, unity, strength, economic growth, expansion for all, the GDP increases, misery decreases, people are free, have few rules, and crime is even so, very low, Such is the moral and spiritual level that the human beings of this place have reached, behold, the top of the pyramid, discontent, creates confusion and tries to generate a crisis, purposeful, serious, that allows not only the fall of this place, but a general fall, it has to be, or the pyramid begins to become another barrel, and this nobody (from the top) wants. 

Not satisfied, those at the top, obviously invent duality programs, this side versus that side, and of course they control both sides, supply both sides with weapons, spew theories and talk news, from both sides, confuse everyone, and gain a lot from it all. It doesn't matter who is right and who is wrong, possibly everyone is wrong, because they should already know better and better, in not allowing themselves to be manipulated and controlled by the top, but the egos of the men speak louder. The guys at the top, celebrate!

It's impressive, all things considered. Impressive and hard to believe or swallow, most people think that there is no such thing as the top of the pyramid, and of course, to think that way is favorable to the top, and they create platitudes for those who distrust them, they are the conspiracy theorists I mean, the whole world, from the baker to the engineer, from the laundress to the architect, from the lawyer to the judge, they all take bribes, they have qi (who indicates, C-factor (wedge), they go under the table, they put their friend in, they pretend, they don't declare everything, but the guys at the top...they are saints! It's all conspiranoiacs, those who think that the people in positions of more power...would do something like that, ohHH Jaméeee!!! 

Our little children, used to the screens, as if real life were that, all looking at themselves on the screen, like Narcissus, who falls in love with himself, seeing his reflection in the water, this is how young people develop, counting the likes, dreaming of the limelight of an exorbitant number of likes in a video, for which one wins. ...nothing, absolutely nothing, and if it is forgotten, in less than 24 hours, it is surpassed, and the need to beat that record again, leads to the exhaustion of emotions, which seek external validation, without realizing that this passion, is unhealthy, is not love, and spend their lives, without even knowing the true meaning of that word...love. What is love after all? 

In the midst of thousands, millions, billions of people, how will I ever be important or anything? How to fill the emptiness? How to calm the anxiety, the constant urge to distract myself with something, because if I stop, I hear the voice of my conscience, which weighs, weighs too much? the tendency is to run away. 

And speaking of escape, the typical ways of escaping from reality that one neither understands nor desires, continue to exist in this post modernity (see: Ulrich Beck, Anthony Giddens, and Zygmunt Bauman), games, shopping, tobacco, alcohol, distorted sexuality, drugs, and we add the new trends as virtual reality and social networks: insta, twitter, face, reddit, snapchat, youtube, tinder, and the list goes on, everything, ego illusion. 

The person who doesn't know what the ego, the conscious, the subconscious, and the unconscious are, but knows how many sisters the Kardashians are or how many children Ronaldo has, is living totally in an illusion and not in reality. 

The person who claims to follow science and that science knows everything, but doesn't know which side your liver is on or how many floating ribs you have in your body...doesn't know how your body works, what it needs, how much it needs of each thing, for its basic functions, but can explain who is the best center fielder...I don't even have words for that person. 

A human being, who is an adult, has been in the world for at least 20 years, with access to all the imaginary information, at his fingertips, inside his pocket, and doesn't know what it means to be sovereign, doesn't understand the importance of freedom, and thinks that when he dies he will all go under the ground and that's it, it's all over, it was no use, adieu, au revoir!? 

He literally lives a total illusion, it's sad, it's bothersome, it's harmful to everyone, this complete lack of awareness that his ignorance, moreover, affects, to the whole, because we are all connected. 

Through the collective unconscious, we are all affected, by everyone's way of thinking and feeling. 

Life is not two days, it's much more, and at this moment, due to the mass absorbed collective unconscious of the majority, we are facing the most "septic" time that we have ever had in our entire existence, because it is of an enormous passivity, to stay absorbed, quiet and serene, looking at a screen, to sketch from time to time a yellow smile, that lasts the time of a click or a reals, which are 15 seconds of excruciating pain to the heart. 

Our actions are to move our fingertips... to scroll, not even to express, in a text, like this one, what we think and desire. Which seems very little, although it is already a lot, because books have saved humanity many times, and the first thing you burn, when you want to control a society, are the books and the texts, the free expression of people. And this is happening too, to top it all off and in the background also to prove my point. 

The right eye color for you, your name Bridgeton, the filter that best masks your face, the disney princess you look like, the number of likes on a post you have, the score in your game, the team you win, the friend that identifies you, the number of friends or followers, the money you have in the bank, the number of sneakers you have in your closet, all the things you own materially, all the titles you are given, the medals, the posters, the fake smiles, the approval of others, all this is illusion. None of it is real. None of it even has any real value. 

And now, if I take all that away from you, what is left? What is left? Look for the answer to that... look for yourself, find yourself, feel yourself, love yourself, and after that, give yourself, show and be what you truly are, donate your uniqueness to the world, don't pretend to be the same, that will take a long time, possibly your whole life, without getting a day's rest. 

In order to be united, we don't and shouldn't all be the same. But to be unique, we need to know who we are, and be ourselves. Union is each one being unique and one with the others. 

ONE IS EACH INDIVIDUAL BRINGING THEIR UNIQUE IDENTITY TO ADD TO THE GROUP, WHERE WE ARE UNITED, RESPECTING, LEARNING, AND REALLY VALUING EACH ONE, THAT IS UNITY.
